It has been decided by NABARD to introduce a new scheme of selection for recruitment of officers in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS) and Grade-‘B’ (RDBS). Under the new scheme of selection the examination will be computer based online (Objective type with Multiple Choice Question pattern) and shall consist of three phases, viz., Phase-I and Phase-II, followed by Interview. The pattern of online examination for Phase I and Phase II is indicated in Para III of the advertisement. Prospective candidates are advised that Phase-II of the examination will be conducted within three to four weeks of Phase-I of the examination. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant Manager (Grade ‘A’) and Manager (Grade ‘B’) in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Candidates can apply only ON-LINE on NABARD website www.nabard.org between 23 March 2016 and 13 April 2016 after carefully going through all the instructions given in this advertisement. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post. NABARD would admit to the Examinations all the candidates applying for the relevant post/s with the requisite fee (wherever applicable) on the basis of the information furnished in the ON-LINE application and shall determine their eligibility only at the final stage i.e. interview stage. If at that stage, it is found that any information furnished in the ON-LINE application is false/ incorrect or if according to the Bank, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. The Preliminary online Examination will be common for both Assistant Manager (RDBS) in Grade ‘A’ and Manager (RDBS) in Grade ‘B’. The selection will be in three Phases as furnished below:
Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks. Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time Part I i) Test of Reasoning – 40 marks ii) English Language – 40 marks iii) Computer Knowledge – 20 marks iv) General Awareness – 20 marks v) Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks Part II i)Eco. & Social issues – 25 marks ii)Agri. & Rural Dev. – 25 marks
Phase II – Main Examination will consist of 01 paper in MCQ pattern and 01 paper in descriptive format (English). How to apply ? :
The Bank arranges pre examination training to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, free of cost. Candidates who desire to avail of the training may apply SEPARATELY to the Chief General Manager, NABARD at any one of the centres marked below(**), in the format furnished below on or before 20 April 2016. The cover containing the application should be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR PRE-EXAMINATION TRAINING FOR SC/ST/OBC/PWD CANDIDATES FOR ASST. MANAGER IN RDBS AND MANAGER IN GRADE ‘B’ (RDBS), Outstation Candidates should not send their application for training to NABARD, HRMD, HO, MUMBAI, as it will not entertain – 12 – such applications. However, candidates opting for Mumbai Centre for PRT may forward their application to NABARD, HRMD, HO, Mumbai. The pre-examination training would be held prior to Preliminary Examination in the following centres. The exact date, time and venue would be informed to the candidates in advance. The training will be held subject to adequate number of requests being received.
Decision of the Bank in all matters relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the applicants and no correspondence or personal enquiries will be entertained in this regard by NABARD.
No applicant will be appointed in the Bank’s service, who, (a) after such enquiry, as may be considered necessary, is not found suitable for the Bank’s service and (b) after such medical examination, as the Bank may prescribe, is not found to be in good mental or physical health and free from any mental and/or physical defect likely to interfere with efficient discharge of duties.
In case any dispute arises on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English version will prevail.
The applicants will appear for the Phase I and II Online Examination at the allotted centres at their expenses and risks and the Bank will not be responsible for any injury/ loss, etc. of any nature to him/ her.
Print out of the completed On-line application should not be sent.
Instances for providing incorrect information and / or process violation by a candidate detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidates from the selection process and he / she will not be allowed to appear in any NABARD recruitment process in the future. If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected subsequently, such disqualification will takes place with retrospective effect.
CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION.
The Bank does not furnish the mark sheet of the selection process to candidates. The marks obtained in Phase I (online examination) will be made available on the website in an interactive mode, after shortlisting of candidates for Phase II examination. However, the marks obtained in Phase II examination and interview will be made available on the Bank’s website n an interactive mode only after declaration of final results.
